Our Story...
Starting in the late 30's...
Murray Carson “Mr. C” Bain Started in high school during the late 1930’s by carrying 5 Gallon buckets of cooking oil. Selling to his neighbors up and down Spring Garden Street until he was able to move up to Heating Oil. Earning up enough to get his first pick up, he started expanding, Moving on to their first pump truck, and later Incorporating in 1949.


Incorporating in 1949...
Starting out as home heating care expanded into the HVAC business a year later. making it through the years “Mr. C.” expanded his horizons and became the Guilford County Commissioner (D) (1954-1962), City Councilman (1966-1969) and then the Mayor of Greensboro, NC (1967-1969).
Expanding to High Point and Winston Salem
Settling back into the Bain Oil in the 70’s, Mr. C expanded and with that brought in many family members, including his son Bobby Bain, “Mr. B”, who took over as President of the company in 1973 and still running it to this day. Eventually adding transports into a 90 mile radius until expanding to where we are at today. Late 2007 Robert Bain joined the family business and making this a 3 generational family business.

Starting the next Generation
In late 2007, after gaining experience, Robert Bain joined the family business as President of the Heating and Air Division. Since then, we have proudly maintained a dedicated HVAC department committed to providing dependable, high-quality heating and cooling solutions.
